If you live with complex trauma or PTSD, many days feel like survival: overwhelmed, far from people you love, stuck in what already happened. It does not have to stay this way. Getting through the day does not have to be the whole of your life.

Florida LMHC. Trauma therapy — EMDR, Neuroscience Therapy, DBT — in English and Polish.
Let’s TalkThe mind may know you are out of danger. The body may not. Sleep frays. A sound, a look, a date on the calendar, and you are back there. Or you feel nothing, and wonder why you cannot come back to your own life.
A tightness that never quite leaves. Or you lose the thread of who you are. You keep the peace at any cost, or you cannot let anyone close. Food, work, substances, caretaking: ways to quiet what has no words yet. None of that means you’re broken. Something in you adapted so you could survive.
You do not need the right name for it. If the feeling is “this should be over, and it isn’t,” you are in the right place.
The question is not what is wrong with you. It is what happened, and what it still asks of your body, your relationships, and who you are. Healing is not forcing a positive outlook. It is making enough safety, here and in the nervous system, that something new can happen.
We work with the whole person, not only the story. I use traditional and eclectic approaches, including EMDR as needed, Neuroscience Therapy, mindfulness, DBT, and other forms of cognitive restructuring. No two people go through this the same way.
